Kate Timko (Loomis Chaffee)
My name is Kate Timko, I'm a senior at the Loomis Chaffee School in Windsor, CT. My home town is Bar Harbor, Maine. Last summer, I went on the "Plight of the Thai Elephant" trip with Loop Abroad to Chiang Mai, Thailand and it was absolutely amazing.
In my free time I love doing ceramics and sculpture and playing softball. I'm also the president of the progressive politics club at Loomis. I love history, English, and the social sciences.
In college, I hope to major in a social science like psychology or human development and minor in studio art. I am considering a career in art therapy. If you have any questions about Loop Abroad and the Thailand trip, please ask me!
Kate's experience with Loop Abroad was recently featured in this article at Loomis Chaffee.
