Noosha Kohandarvish

Noosha Kohandarvish was born and raised in Los Angeles, California. She has always had a love for animals and grew up with a menagerie of pets including chickens, ducks, and even a squirrel.

She began working at her local Petco when she was 16 years old, taking care of small animals, fish, reptiles, and birds. This job further fueled her passion and after graduating with a BA in Psychology from UCLA, she enrolled in the Pre-Vet program at Pierce College, taking animal science courses as well as working on the school farm.

With this education came a desire to learn more about companion animals, such as cats and dogs, and led to a three-year position as a veterinary assistant at Blue Cross Pet Hospital. After completing her course work, she received admission to the UC Davis School of Veterinary Medicine. She recently finished her first year as a DVM Candidate and is currently an officer for Mercer Clinic for Pets of the homeless, Pathology Club, and Feline Medicine Club. This summer, she will also be completing a ten-week internship with Banfield Pet Hospital.

In her free time she enjoys photography, making art, spending time outdoors, and spending time with friends, family, and her two dogs.
