Dr. Rebekah Kane

Dr. Kane was born in Virginia but grew up in central New York State, where she currently resides.

She completed undergraduate studies in Biology at the State University of New York, at New Paltz, and followed up with veterinary school at Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California. In her 4th year of veterinary school, Dr. Kane had the opportunity to extern in various locations across the United States, her most memorable of which was an Oregon wild animal park where she got to work with a wide array of unique animals such as cheetah, tigers, aoudad, dik-dik, watusi, yaks, and capybara.

Upon graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Kane completed a 1-year internship at a companion animal emergency and specialty hospital in San Diego. Dr. Kane has traveled throughout most of the United States and has traveled and lived abroad in Mexico. She has been practicing as a companion animal veterinarian for the past 7 years, and is currently pursuing training in animal acupuncture and physical therapy. Her non-veterinary interests include gardening, salsa dancing, Latin music, and learning to speak Spanish.
