Dr. Hannah Findlay

Dr. Hannah Findlay was raised in North Carolina. She attended Virginia Tech and earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology in 2011. She earned her DVM from Auburn University in 2015. She currently resides in Marietta, GA and practices veterinary medicine in a small animal clinic for Banfield Pet Hospital.

While an undergraduate, Dr. Findlay spent a summer working at an exotic animal sanctuary. She worked with multiple species of big cats including lions, tigers, servals, and leopards. While Dr. Findlay had always wanted to be a veterinarian, that experience bolstered her desire to work with animals for the rest of her life.

In veterinary school, Dr. Findlay worked at another exotic animal sanctuary in Hawaii also acting as a mentor for a pre-veterinary students. She greatly enjoyed the teaching opportunity. That same summer, she spent two weeks in the Galapagos Islands volunteering at a veterinary clinic.

Dr. Findlay enjoys traveling -- she spent a semester abroad in Oxford, England while earning her bachelor’s degree. Her most recent trip was exploring New Zealand!

When not working, Dr. Findlay enjoys hiking with her dogs, reading on her back patio, and watching movies with her new husband.
